In Pursuit of a Silent Majority
Obama's White House and its allies have unleashed a barrage of criticism and condescension at people daring to show up at town-hall meetings and ask their elected representatives pointed questions. "Fired up and ready to go!" apparently works only one way. If engaged citizens shower Obama with adoration at stage-managed rallies, they are the very stuff of American democracy. If they boo their congressman, they are a scandalous eruption of fake or hateful sentiment.
The Democratic National Committee has called the hostile questioners and protesters at town halls a "mob." White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said that they represent "manufactured anger" ginned up by nefarious corporate interests, and referred to them as "the Brooks Brothers brigade." California Sen. Barbara Boxer, too, took offense at the untoward lack of shabby dress, noting with disapproval that the protesters are "well-dressed." It's the attack of the haut-polloi.
All of these Obama mouthpieces must forget that the president once was a community organizer. As a young man in Chicago, he got people to meetings and primed them with questions to ask city officials. By the Gibbs standard, when Obama prodded his community activists to get the Chicago Housing Authority to remove asbestos from a public-housing complex in the 1980s, it was contemptible "manufactured" outrage.
Conservative groups are publicizing the times and locations of town-hall meetings on the Internet. They are calling and e-mailing people on their membership lists and urging them to make their voices heard. No one prior to the troubled career of ObamaCare thought town-hall meetings should be closely held secrets, or considered basic block-and-tackle political organizing as out of bounds.
Obama once extolled such organizing as one of the marvels of American democracy. The same DNC operative who attacked the "angry mobs of a small number of rabid right-wing extremists" ran a union-funded group in 2005 opposing President George W. Bush's Social Security reform. It organized protests and town-hall meetings, and ran TV ads. But never mind — it's activism for me, not for thee.
The Obama team labors under the misapprehension that its sweeping, $1 trillion health-care plan is popular. Pluralities in almost every poll disapprove of the Democrats' proposals and disapprove of Obama's handling of health care. Polls show that opponents of ObamaCare feel more intensely about the issue than supporters. It's not surprising, then, that town-hall meetings would be uncomfortable for members of Congress plugging for ObamaCare.
In politics, every action prompts a reaction. If Obama had had his way, health-care reform would have passed both houses of Congress a week ago in a pure power play. If Obama gets his maximalist version of reform through, he will depend less on persuasion than sheer political muscle in Washington. Only a public quiescent to the point of obedience would meekly accept a rush to reorder one-sixth of the economy. And only a conservative opposition that had curled up and died wouldn't raise holy hell.
The ultimate point of the attacks on the town-hall protesters is to define that opposition as illegitimate. Which is also why liberal opinion-makers are so obsessed with the "birther" conspiracy theorists who believe Obama was born in Kenya. The birthers have been denounced by every reputable conservative. But the left still wants to use them to tar all Republicans as extreme in what it hopes will be a self-fulfilling narrative of conservative obsolescence.
This narrative will encounter the same difficulty as the health-care plan has: reality. Obama is sinking toward a 50 percent presidency, with the public evenly divided over him. In New Jersey and Virginia gubernatorial races this year, Republicans are both leading by 14 points in the latest polls and appealing to the center. No matter how fervently Obama may wish it to be so, his skeptics won't be silent.

Do You See The Private Sector Going Away?
"Put it this way: Imagine any of this generation's Democratic establishment taking a job at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati as a middle-manager responsible for a division of employees and its annual profit and loss. It is wholly inconceivable. Or helping an owner of an auto-parts company in Austin manage through a real crisis. They wouldn't have a clue. Some of Mr. Obama's supporters need to reboot their vision. They did not sign on just to him, but to him and his party. That party is creating a world of its own, a world being drained of oxygen for the kind of people who build the nation's economy."

The Wisdom of Charles Krauthammer
Date: July 3rd, 2009
OK... here is my preface to this rant and rave.
Charles Krauthammer (born March 13, 1950) is an American Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist and a prominent political commentator. His weekly column appears in the The Washington Post and is syndicated in more than 200 newspapers and media outlets. He is a contributing editor to the Weekly Standard and The New Republic. He is a Fox News contributor, a regular panelist on Fox’s evening news program Special Report with Bret Baier and a weekly panelist on Inside Washington.

My uncle in Ohio had a friend that went to hear Charles Krauthammer. He listened with 25 others in a closed room. What he says here, is NOT 2nd-hand but 1st. You would do well to read and pass this along to EVERYBODY who loves his country. This is VERY serious for the direction of our country. The ramifications are staggering for us and our children.
Charles Krauthammer Speech/Comments on the 'New Economy' and Barack Obama whom I call the "Dirty Wizard".
To my friends and associates:
Last Monday was a profound evening, hearing Dr. Charles Krauthammer speak to the Center for the American Experiment. He is a brilliant intellectual, seasoned and articulate. He is forthright and careful in his analysis, and never resorts to emotions Or personal insults. He is NOT a fear monger nor an extremist in his comments And views. He is a fiscal conservative and holds a Pulitzer Prize. He writes weekly for the Washington Post and is a frequent contributor to Fox News. The entire room was held spellbound during his talk. I have shared this with many of you and several have asked me to summarize his comments, as we are living in uncharted waters economically And internationally. Even 2 democrats at my table agreed with everything he said! If you feel like forwarding this to those who are open minded and have not 'drunk the Kool-Aid', feel free.
A summary of his comments:
1. Mr. Obama is a very intellectual, charming individual. He is not to be underestimated. He is a 'cool customer' who doesn't show his emotions. It's very hard to know what's "behind the mask". Taking down the Clinton dynasty from a political neophyte was an amazing accomplishment. The Clinton's still do not
understand what hit them. Obama was in the perfect place at the perfect time.
2. Obama has political skills comparable to Reagan and Clinton. He has a way of making you think he's on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES!
3. Obama has a ruthless quest for power. He did not come to Washington to make something out of himself, but rather to change everything, including dismantling capitalism. He can't be straightforward on his ambitions, as the public would not go along. He has a heavy hand and wants to 'level the playing field' with income redistribution and punishment of the achievers of society. He would like to model the USA to Great Britain or Canada .
4. His three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION, and NATIONAL HEALTHCARE by the Federal Government. He doesn't care about the auto or financial services industries, but got them as an early bonus. The cap and trade will add costs to everything and stifle growth. Paying for FREE college education is his goal. Most scary is healthcare program, because if you make it FREE and add 46,000,000 people to a Medicare-type single-payer system, the Costs will go thru the roof. The only way to control costs is with massive RATIONING of services, like in Canada . God forbid.
5. He's surrounded himself with mostly far-left academic types, none of which around him has ever run even a candy store. But they're going to try and run the auto, financial, banking and other industries. This obviously can't work in the long run. Obama's not a socialist; rather a far-left secular progressive bent on Nothing short of revolution. He ran as a moderate, but will govern from the hard left. Again, watch what he does, not what he says.
6. Obama doesn't really see himself as President of the USA , more as a ruler over the world. He sees himself above it all, trying to orchestrate and coordinate various Countries and their agendas. He sees moral equivalency in all cultures. His apology tour in Germany and England was a prime example of how he sees America, as an imperialist nation that has been arrogant, rather than a great Noble nation that has at times made errors. This is the 1st President ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies at the same time!
7. He's now handing out goodies. He hopes that the bill (and pain) will not 'come due' until after he's reelected in 2012. He'd like to blame all problems on Bush from the past and hopefully his successor in the future. He has a huge ego and Mr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.
8. Republicans are in the wilderness for a while, but will emerge strong. We're 'pining' for another Reagan, but there'll never be another like him. He believes Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty and Bobby Jindahl (except for his terrible speech in February) are the future of the party. Newt Gingrich is brilliant, but has baggage. Sarah Palin is sincere and intelligent, but needs to really be seriously boning up on facts and info if she's to be a serious candidate in the future. We need to return to the party of lower taxes, smaller government, Personal responsibility, strong national defense, and states' rights. This is a MUST: She must stop talking in cliches and platitudes.
9. The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We're spending trillions that we don't have. This could lead to hyper inflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, Reid, and Pelosi a pass because they love their agenda. But eventually the bill will come due and people will realize the huge bailouts didn't work, nor will the stimulus package. These were trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama's allies, unions and the Congress to placate the left, so he can get support for #4 above.
10. The election was over in mid-Sept. when Lehman brothers failed. Fear and panic swept in, we had an unpopular President, and the war was grinding on indefinitely without a clear outcome. The people are in pain, and the mantra of 'change' caused people to act emotionally. Any Dim would have won this election; it was surprising it was as close as it was.
11. In 2012, if the unemployment rate is over 10%, Republicans will be swept back into power. If it's under 8%, the Dims continue to roll. If it's between 8-10%, it'll be a dogfight. It'll all be about the economy.
I hope this gets you really thinking a bout what's happening in
Washington and Congress. There's a left-wing revolution going on,
according to Krauthammer, and he encourages Us to keep the faith and
join the loyal resistance. The work will be hard, but we're right on
most issues and can reclaim our country, before it's far Too late.
This, in my opinion has been my most important blog to date.
If you think I'm full of crap.... TELL ME! If you think I'm correct on what I've observed.... TELL ME! Please let me know YOUR thoughts!

An Unknown Author's Letter to The Dirty Wizard (Obama)
This unknown author told the truth and hit it right on the money. No fooling around. WOW what a letter!!!
This person stood up for what he / she believed in!!!!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE....
April 17, 2009
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington , DC 20500
Mr. Obama:
> I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally.
> You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America. You are responsible to the citizens of the United States ... You are not responsible to the people of any other country on Earth.
> I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of the people of Europe ? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?
> Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States?
> This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?
> Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia . You didn't show Great Britain, our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia .. How dare you, sir! How dare you!
> You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey ... You offended our dead and every veteran when you give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves. What's the matter with you? I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.
> You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.
> What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members - on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn't!
> Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million - not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now.
> I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you.
> I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.
Sincerely,
Every real American

A very good friend, Dale D, just informed me of this on Snopes. I respect and truly care for my friend Dale. His political viewpoints are different from mine, but we are both on the same page because we are both "clear thinkers". I'd hate it if I lived in a world where everyone believes in what I spout (pretty scary actually). Anyway, I digress. Dale brought this to my attention.. so, I am delivering it to you all who read my blog. I offer this site as a place for humor and controversy. Anyone can weigh in at any time.. good?
Snopes said the following: Origins: This letter to President Obama began circulation in May 2009 as something penned by a fourth grade teacher from Hillsboro, Missouri, named Kathleen Lyday. However, Ms. Lyday has disclaimed being it's author; An earlier version circulated in Mid April 2009 credits authorship to one Franklin T. Bell of Columbia, Maryland, who May or may not be its originator/ Last updated 1 June 2009
OK.. In this being brought to my attention: I am revising it's content in the beginning to reflect no author.

Ms. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is an Elitist A**hole
In the military, they are taught to address all civilians by “Sir” or “Ma’am”.
It’s a title of respect and deference. In fact, the military standard becomes so ingrained in you, all military or ex-military that I know still respond to everybody with “Yes Sir” or “No Ma’am.”
If Ms. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) knew anything about the military (other than how much she loathes it and all it stands for), she would be honored and humbled to have a General in the United States Army refer to her with a respectful “ma’am”.
Instead, while questioning General Michael Walsh during a committee hearing, Ms. Boxer — who, from this day forward, I will never refer to as “Senator” again, because I don’t think she’s earned it or deserves the respect — decided to rudely interrupt the General’s answer to one of her questions to demand that he really respect her.
From Breitbart.TV:
Freak’n low-class, arrogant, self-important, elitist bitch.
Ms. Boxer is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than herself.
Men like General Michael Walsh.
I wish Gen. Walsh would have continued to refer to her as “Ma’am” — just to watch her freak out and go batshit crazy. She probably would have stormed out of the room cursing. Or crying. Likely both.
It would have been nice if he’d simply looked down at his chest full of medals, and remark,
No ma’am. You didn’t work hard to earn anything. You simply won an election. These medals were earned with real sacrifice, blood, sweat, devotion, and honor. Things you wouldn’t know anything about. In the military, our standard of address is “Ma’am” or “Sir”, so I’ll continue to address you in the manner that has served this Army for 234 years, thank you very much. Now, what was your whiny assed question again, ma’am?
Or, as a commenter at Breitbart suggested:
Well, another opportunity missed. He should have said, “Gladly Ma’am.” or, “Certainly Senator. I’m more comfortable with that anyways. Ma’am is gesture of respect. Senator is a job title.”
Of course he didn’t respond that way. Because, unlike Ms. Boxer, he has the class and respect of an officer and a gentleman.

Letterman: When I joked about Palin’s daughter having sex, I meant Bristol, not Willow

A sneak preview of tonight’s monologue from EW. He wasn’t joking about her 14-year-old daughter being a prostitute, silly. He was joking about her 18-year-old daughter being a prostitute. Perfectly legal. Whew!
“We were, as we often do, making jokes about people in the news and we made some jokes about Sarah Palin and her daughter [Bristol]… and now they’re upset with me…” Letterman says on tonight’s show. “These are not jokes made about her 14-year-old daughter. I would never, never make jokes about raping or having sex of any description with a 14-year-old girl…. Am I guilty of poor taste? Yes. Did I suggest that it was okay for her 14-year-old daughter to be having promiscuous sex? No.” Saying he hopes he’s “cleared part of this up,” Letterman extended an invitation to Palin to come on the show as a guest.
Don’t you see? He’d never condone statutorily raping a girl who’s underage. All he meant to do was goof on the idea that Palin’s eldest daughter, a single mother with a baby, is a whore. Everything cool now? Let’s move on.
No, let's NOT move on. If that were Obama's daughters he was talking about... he would be crucified. This is a PERFECT example of the hypocrisy of "Our" biased television hosts.
Letterman is a horses ass!

Who are you?... and what do you stand for?

I’m fiscally conservative, socially tolerant, and fiercely support strong defense, whether it be militarily at the national level, or pro-second amendment and Castle Doctrine at the personal level. Although I find abortion to a horrific act, I support a woman’s right to decide if and how long to remain pregnant. I fully support gay civil unions, but believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. I further think welfare and government assistance programs are a waste of money and foster a class of lazy citizens that feel they are “owed” something. This is Socialism at its finest, and it stinks. Just because someone is poor, it doesn’t mean that they are entitled to the wealth of those who have more.
Lunatic fringe….I know you're out there. You're in hiding, and you hold your meetings. We can hear you coming. We know what you're after. We're wise to you this time. We won't let you kill the laughter.
I am hardly ever politically correct. I won’t accept race, gender, age, religion, or political ideology as an excuse for stupidity. I’ve always called it like it is….
I unequivocally support the death penalty, and wish that it would be administered more quickly and more often.
Oh….. I try not to be confrontational. Boo Yah.
Who are you? …and what do you stand for?

Muslim Nation??
This weeks Rant.....
Obama appears to be making a bet that his personal charm in defending America against those who are disparaging her will rebound to our benefit. His apology tour will lead to greater cooperation in advancing justice and American ideals. History suggests that an attitude of submissive weakness is not one that brings out the best in bloodthirsty dictators. Therefore: I call bullshit. Now we look like pussies. Thanks.
So far, the rest of the world has applauded Obama’s performance — and gone on to reject our requests for economic cooperation, combat troops for Afghanistan, partnership with Russia against Iran, and North Korean continuation of the six-party nuclear disarmament talks without launching long-range missiles over Japan.
Buy the T-shirt for the tour, folks, but don’t be too unhappy if they run out. It looks like we’ll have a “We Suck” tour in 2010, 2011, and 2012, too.
Funny, I was there during the campaign. I don’t remember that debate ever being held or the American people ever weighing in on it. It was all about hope and change. Hope and change. Yes we can! Yes we can! Silly simplistic chants and slogans and idealistic dreams. It was the ultimate in races for class president, which are never anything more than popularity contests. This was the ultimate American Idol, resulting from fawning Drive By Media coverage combined with a dumbed down electorate which checked their minds at the door and became content to chant “O-Baa-Ma! O-Baa-Ma! O-Baa-Ma!” like the good sheep they were. I certainly do now know it was never about substance. Or matters like having the President of the United States conducting a World Apology Tour. Not once did I hear that.... I love spewing out some compelling dialog to get people thinking...“The U.S. Sucks” tour isn’t over yet and the AP is loving it. Watch the news tonight.

AIR FARCE ONE

I'm trying to stay out of politics (yea, right...) but this has nothing to really do with political issues, just politicians! It seems the Obama Administration has once again proven just how much they really care for our great Americans. Yesterday they thought it would be a great photo op for Air Force One to be circling around the sky-line of New York City and the Statue of Liberty. Yes that's right a huge 747 jetliner flying low around the city...gee I wonder what it might remind people of? 911? NO WAY!?! Thousands evacuated buildings and flooded onto the streets in panic as they watched a air force fighter jet tailing Air Force One. I'm posting one of the stories from the New York Daily Post so you can read all about Mayor Bloomberg's outrage and the frustration of the citizens. Regardless of what you think about the president, good or bad, one must admit this was just STUPID, thoughtless and insensitive to an already shaken and on-the-edge city...by the way I read that neither NBC or CNN covered this event...go figure...Here's the article...
OBAMA PLANE PHOTO OP STARTLES NEW YORKERS

A jumbo jet being chased by a F-16 fighter jets buzzed Lower Manhattan this morning, panicking New Yorkers, many of whom were forced to evacuate their office buildings.
Have Photos of the Stunt? E-mail them to photo@nypost.com or Upload Them Here.
It was not a terrorist attack, however, but a photo opportunity for Air Force One, sources told the Post.
President Obama was in Washington at the time, but the low-flying 747 circling the Statue of Liberty was one of the planes used as Air Force One, sources said.
The NYPD and the city were notified of the planned flight, but did not share that information with Mayor Bloomberg and other New Yorkers, many of whom said they were terrified.
MORE: White House Apologizes For Air Force One Photo Op
Hours after the incident, a furious Bloomberg called the photo-op "insensitive."
"First thing is I'm annoyed - furious is a better word - that I wasn't told," he said. "Why the Defense Department wanted to do a photo op right around the site of the World Trade Center catastrophe defies imagination. Poor judgment would be a nice ways to phrase."
Bloomberg said federal officials notified the NYPD and another city official, whom he declined to identify, of the flight plan.
"Had I known about it I would have called them right away and asked them not to," he said. "The good news is it was nothing more than an ill considered, badly conceived, insensitive photo op - with the taxpayers' money."
Dominick Caglioti, who works at the Mercantile Exchange, thought the worst as he saw the jets hurtle toward his window just after 10:30 a.m. After learning it was all a photo op, he was furious.
"It's so stupid because they tell you about every fire drill, but they didn't tell us about this," he said.
The planes flew over the Verrazano Bridge, buzzed the left ear Lady Liberty and then continued up the Hudson past Jersey City and then circling back toward Staten Island, federal sources told the Post.
Thousands flooded the streets downtown as buildings called evacuations.
"There is situation outside. We don't have any further information," went one announcement at the Embassy Suites downtown.
After hearing it was all planned, many of those in the streets complained New Yorkers should have been warned.
"You don't do this to people down here after all we have been to," said Jillian Pizzarello, who also works at the Mercantile Exchange.
According to the Department of Defense, that Presidential Airlift Group began its aerial photography mission at Andrews Airforce Base.
"This mission, involving the VC-25 and an F-16, was conducted in conjunction with normally scheduled continuation training for assigned aircrew members," officials said. [END OF ARTICLE]
RON RETURNS...I found this from the White House...
The director of the White House military office, Louis Caldera, took the blame a few hours later. One of the planes was a 747 that is called Air Force One when used by the president. "Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision," Caldera said. "While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it's clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused."
THe only other thing I wish to say is that if Bush had of done something so insanely STUPID the press and the world would have called for his head on a platter...Obama gets a pass, as usual, and the world will turn her collective head and pretend that the great one really is as great as they wish to believe.
